# Prozessanbindung

In der Prozessanbindung erfolgt die Konfiguration zur Übernahme externer Daten nach ACRON. Eine Prozessanbindung wird durch einen [Provider](/acron-9.3/anlagenkonfiguration/prozessanbindung/provider.md) mit dem entsprechenden Kommunikationstreiber definiert und ausgeführt. Eine Ausnahme bilden hierbei die Handwerte, die nicht von einem Leitsystem/SPS geliefert werden, sondern manuell erfasst werden müssen.

Es können für eine Anlage mehrere Provider konfiguriert werden. Dies ist erforderlich, wenn z.B. Daten aus mehreren Leitsystemen übernommen werden sollen, da jeder Provider nur von einer Schnittstelle Daten sammeln kann.
