# Database Engine

The ACRON Database Engine handles the administration of the entire ACRON database.

## Workspace <a href="#datenbankengine" id="datenbankengine"></a>

| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Status             | Inactive, running service, running application, ... Note The service cannot be stopped if it is running in a session other than that of the current user (e.g. Terminal Server). |
| Error status       | The last error that occurred                                                                                                                                                     |
| Compression status | Indicates whether the Database Engine is currently calculating, or has already calculated, compression data.                                                                     |
| Calculation status | Date up to which results were calculated.                                                                                                                                        |
