# Context menu

The context menu contains the following options for the license:

* Read out

  Information on the ACRON license
* Update

  When the scope of a license needs to be changed, such as due to an upgrade or in line with the latest software version, the license producer e-mails a new license file. The file is automatically imported if it is on the Desktop or in the ACRON program directory. Otherwise a dialog box is displayed from which you can select the storage location.

  Note

  All active local database servers must be stopped.
* Export...

  Click this button to read the current license data and save them to a file. This file enables the license producer to identify the license and update it as necessary when downgrading.
* Fingerprint...

  Export of hardware information for forwarding to create a file license key
* Moving a software license…

  An active software license can be moved from a source computer to a destination computer; ACRON must already be installed on the destination computer.
* Downgrades

  Opens the directory "`C:\Users\Public\Documents\ACRON\`" which may contain downgrade Confirmation files (ACK\_hardlockID\_hardlocknumber.c2v).
