# ACRON Admin

With this module, services and applications can be managed, and as from ACRON 8.0 plants can be updated. It can only be started by administrators, running with enhanced privileges.

ACRON Admin can also be launched from the Designer; network plants and connected plants are supported.

If a default plant exists, it is preselected.

Note

To ensure maximum performance for services and applications, you can enter the ACRON processes in "Microsoft Security Essentials".

For the ACRON Admin and ACRON Designer modules to work as expected, the "Microsoft Management Instrumentation" service (WMI) is required.

Note

"Orphaned services" are listed where appropriate.

Services/applications of plants with differing versions cannot be started, but can be stopped and uninstalled.
