# The ACRON modules

The ACRON software suite offers users maximum flexibility based on its independent modules. This structure means system resources are deployed highly efficiently, so relieving the computer workload. The computing power saved can then be utilized for other tasks such as visualization, remote alerts or text processing. Modularity results in a highly adaptable project design tool when changes and upgrades are needed.

If third-party programs, possibly with custom files, are included, you can click the relevant icon to start the program.

## Plant project design with the ACRON Designer <a href="#anlagenprojektierung" id="anlagenprojektierung"></a>

The ACRON Designer is the development environment for [project design](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenverwaltung.md). The ACRON Designer is used to configure the overall application tailored to individual requirements.

## Reports and data with ACRON Reporter <a href="#berichte" id="berichte"></a>

The ACRON Reporter works on the basis of the system configuration projected in the ACRON Designer, and is the principal tool for the user in editing and processing of plant-specific data.

You can revise day data and interval data and correct erroneous measurements. The values changed afterwards are marked graphically.

It is also possible to enter and log laboratory values, for example, manually. The manually recorded values are listed within the reports together with the automatically entered data. You can view, evaluate and print them within the program.

In the ACRON Reporter you can also enter comments for single process variables and for the individual analysis levels.

The following functions are available in the ACRON Reporter:

* Enter and edit manual values.
* You can evaluate measurement data in daily, weekly, monthly and year views and perform analyses.
* Each automatic, calculation or numerical manual variable in the views can be traced back to the process value.
* For numerical process variables individual graphical value progressions are available within the measurement data views and the manual input view, and can be zoomed to a detailed view via mouse click.
* All diagrams can also be printed out directly from the Reporter by right-clicking on the context menu. You can also copy the time variation curve and value table to the clipboard for other uses.
* You can view, create and output process, daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports, shift reports, variable time reports and modification reports.
* You can open additional ACRON programs (modules) directly from the Reporter without exiting it beforehand.
* You can export data in CSV format (MS Excel compatible).
* You can import data.
* Back up plant data.
* You can evaluate events and include them in the report.

## Time variation curves with ACRON Graph <a href="#ganglini" id="ganglini"></a>

ACRON Graph enables you to interactively create, display and print out time variation curves interactively. Graphical analyses of process variables, calculation variables and alerts can be depicted very flexibly and in a wide variety of ways.

ACRON Graph provides the following options:

* Define various diagram types:

  Time diagram, frequency diagram, cumulative frequency diagram, X/Y diagram, Fourier analysis, maximums analysis, probability plot according to Dr. Groche
* Create superimposition diagrams (time offset)
* Define the data origin, time frame and time offset for the display
* Copy the time variation curve or values for further processing (e.g. in Excel).
* Save diagrams to send by e-mail.
* Create statistical analyses of diagrams.
* Display rulers for precise determination of values within the time variation curve and for precise value comparison.
* Receive new data automatically by running the diagram window in online mode.

## Malfunctions and messages with ACRON Alert <a href="#stoerunge" id="stoerunge"></a>

You can use ACRON Alert to interactively display and print out malfunctions, messages, and their associated statistics.

ACRON Alert provides the following options:

* Define different alert window types:
  * Malfunctions
  * Messages
  * Malfunctions and messages
  * Malfunctions and messages as messages
  * Malfunction statistics
  * Message statistics
* Allocate different [alert groups](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenkonfiguration/alarme.md#alarmgruppe) to incoming messages.
* Perform advanced searches for alerts with the aid of filter conditions.
* Define the time frame of the received data.
* Sort and display the alert table to your own requirements.
* Enter comments in the table.
* Receive new alerts automatically by running the alert window in online mode.
* Print out the alert table.

## Actions and quality assurance with ACRON Service <a href="#massnahme" id="massnahme"></a>

Procedures and work instructions are configured in the system based on the defined goals.

The following functions are available in ACRON Service:

* View, edit and print status overviews
* Enter, edit and deactivate cyclic actions
* Call up year overviews of the cyclic actions
* Enter and edit extraordinary actions
* View and print history reports.
* Correct meter readings
* View and print assigned documents for entities and cyclic actions
* Edit manually recorded values and analyze the graphical value progression
* Import manually recorded values

For quality assurance of workflows (PDCA) that means for example:

* **P**lan
  * Define actions and targets
  * Assess the energy situation
* **D**o
  * Implement and run the action
  * Inhouse communications
  * Provision of resources
* **C**heck
  * Check and analyze
  * Internal audits
  * Preventive and corrective action
* **A**ct
  * Management appraisal
  * Derive new targets

## Plant visualization with ACRON Visual <a href="#anlagenb" id="anlagenb"></a>

You can use ACRON Visual to display current values from your process data and track the trend.

ACRON Visual provides the following options:

* Call up snap readings of process data for a given moment in time
* Track the current trend of values in online mode
* Track earlier value trends either manually, or automatically in replay mode

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.videc.de/acron-9.3/en/acron_der_anlagenchronist/die_acron_module.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
