# Context menu

The context menu contains the following options for alerts:

* Cut

  Cut an object
* Copy

  Copy an object
* Paste

  Paste a cut or copied object
* Delete

  Delete the selection

  Note

  Referenced objects cannot be deleted.

  Exception: Usage in input masks, reports and diagrams does not block deletion.

  Note

  The 'Default' alert group cannot be deleted.

  You cannot delete any groups whose alert variables have an active [alert generation](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenkonfiguration/prozessanbindung/provider/providerid/variablengruppe/register_alarmgenerierung.md).

  You cannot delete any alert variable with active [alert generation](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenkonfiguration/prozessanbindung/provider/providerid/variablengruppe/register_alarmgenerierung.md).
* Group

  Create an alert group

  Create a copy of the selected alert group as a subgroup

  Create alert variable

  Create a new alert variable
* Export...\*

  Export all alerts to a .csv file
* Import\*

    Existing alert variables are overwritten and/or moved after a prompt.

* Hide disabled alert variables

  Show or hide alert variables with the status 'Disabled'.

  Note

  The change will be visible only after restarting the Designer.

\* Import and export are only possible from the main group folder.

\*\* If the lettering in the context menu is in bold, you can also perform the action by double-clicking on the object.
