# Structure of the csv file for renaming external variables

* **ID** Must not be changed.
* **Identification** Contains the current identification.
* **IdentificationNew** Empty column - the new identification is entered here.
* **Name** Contains the current name.
* **NameNew** Also contains the current name, which can be replaced here by a new name.

Note

The csv file can be edited and imported repeatedly, such as when renaming large numbers of external variables in batches.

Only the newly added changes are processed.
