# Dialog - Import of process data

Import of external variable process data from a plant included in ACRON (also versions later than 8.5).

Note

A check is made for a matching identification of the external variable in the exporting and importing plant. Both external variables should use the same data type. The Database Engine should be running for the target plant.

First select the plant from which to transfer the data. Then check whether there are external variables with the same identification in both plants. If so, the desired external variables can be selected in a further dialog. The data import then begins.
