# Key figure

### Identification

Make sure the name is unique, so as to ensure proper identification of the process variable. This identifier must be unique for the complete plant.

### Name

Any detailed designation for the process variable made available in dialogs and reports of the ACRON Reporter for example. You should not select too long a name, otherwise you it will take up lots of space when generating the reports. The name should be unique within the group, to aid differentiation.
