### Confirmation of value changes

Selection to confirm value changes in order to protect the values against unauthorized overwriting, from:

* Confirmation is required
* Confirmation by another user (two-person rule)

  Note

  So that these options require entry of the name and password of one user or of two different users respectively, user administration must be enabled and the right to change values must be assigned in it.

### Use approval management

Stipulation whether the values of this process variable are to be subject to [approval management](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenverwaltung/objekt-eigenschaften-anlage.md#freigabeverwaltung) (object properties of the plant).
