# Activate plant

Activate the plant via the button in the workspace or by double-clicking on it in the ACRON Explorer.

Note

When [user administration](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenkonfiguration/benutzerverwaltung/benutzergruppen-benutzer.md#bv-aktiv) is enabled, a user must log in with his/her [login name](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenkonfiguration/benutzerverwaltung/benutzer.md) and [password](/acron-9.3/en/anlagenkonfiguration/benutzerverwaltung/benutzer/benutzerdaten.md#passwort) as appropriate.

Concealed password to authenticate the user

Note

When Windows user administration is enabled, no password input is required, provided the ACRON user is known to Windows and/or the Active Directory.
