# Marker tab

Display and marking of various values in the ACRON modules for:

* Range limit shortfall
* Range limit exceeding
* Overwritten values
* Substitute values / Markers
* Unapproved values
* Failure/malfunction
* Substitute values in case of measuring range shortfall / Markers

  Note

  The marker is only visible at process data level.
* Substitute values if measuring range exceeded

* Minimums
* Maximums

The entered character string is displayed in the selected color after the corresponding value and, if selected, also in dialogs.

Note

If you leave this "Use in dialogs" option disabled, the value will be merely highlighted in the defined color.
