# User interface

The modem has two user interfaces that can be accessed via the browser.

#### Edge AIP

The web interface of the "Edge AIP" is used to configure the application and to test the settings so that the modem in the AIP can be used as a Sending Media.

#### Device Configuration

While OpenWrt can be fully managed via SSH and the terminal. The web interface facilitates many administration tasks and can be seen as the configuration interface of the operating system. System-relevant settings can be made, such as changing the IP address, VPN or firewall. Changes must be made with caution and can, if necessary, put the system in an unusable state.
