# Einleitung

Das Gerät ist eine industrietaugliche Mobilfunk-Multifunktions-Plattform. Als Betriebssystem ist OpenWrt vorinstalliert, mit der einer Webschnittstelle, die als Benutzeroberfläche des Betriebssystems angesehen werden kann. Zusätzlich ist die Edge AIP-Applikation installiert, die als Schnittstelle zwischen dem Modem und AIP dient. Im AIP kann das Modem als Sendemedium hinterlegt werden, um den SMS oder E-Mail Versand von diesem Gerät zu realisieren.
