# API

APIs spielen bei der Verbindung von Anwendungen eine zentrale Rolle. Nahezu jede Applikation greift über APIs auf Datenquellen und andere Systeme zu. Eine ausführliche API-Dokumentation ist mit dem *Swagger* Toolset verwendbar. Darüberhinaus bietet *Swagger* Unterstützung für automatisierte Dokumentationen sowie für die Generierung von Code und Testfällen. Somit haben Anwender die Möglichkeit in JUNE5 definierte Server-Funktionen zu testen. Dafür kann in der Adressezeile des Browsers nach dem Domainnamen und der Portnummer */swagger* eingegeben werden:

<http://localhost:20000/swagger>

Wenn der JUNE5 Demoserver verwendet wird, ist folgende Adresse anzuwenden:
