# System Administrator

The system administrator has access to all tenants and their administrators, as well as users and permission groups. The system administrator has the ability to release or block hierarchical object structures or individual objects for tenants under the menu item [Object Model](/june5-3.7/en/webanwendung/objektmodell-anlagenmodell.md).

## Creating a System Administrator

The system administrator is the only user created in the Configurator. This is configured under the [Operating Mode](/june5-3.7/en/konfigurator/betriebsmodus.md) tab.
